Can You Use Someone Else's Urine to Pass a Drug Test?

We have all seen movies or heard stories of people using others’ urine in order to pass a drug test. These falsehoods have perpetuated an untruth: you can use someone else’s urine to pass a drug test. However, with the right lab, such as ours at FastestLabs®, you can rest assured the results you are receiving are as accurate as possible.

It is vital any tests you administer as a business person are correct, as there is a reason why employers expect to have their employees be drug-free. This results in many people attempting to pass off another’s urine as their own. When asked about this phenomenon of attempting to use another’s urine, FastestLabs® CEO Dave Claflin responded as such: “This lady put a Ziploc baggie [full of someone else's urine] in her brassiere. But it took her so long [to deposit her sample] that we knocked on the door and startled her, so it spilled all over her shirt.”

These stories are not all too uncommon. Dave cleared up the misconception that it is possible to warm up another’s urine to the exact, necessary temperature, as it simply isn’t. He states: “We have to have specimens between 90 and 100 degrees. The reason we don't accept it under 90 is people usually run a 98.6-degree temperature, but by the time you bring [urine] out of the bathroom in 2 to 3 minutes, it should be in the 92-94 range.”
